An app called Tropical Zoo can let you simulate a zoo visit while you're using it. This was created to engage individuals of all ages in an educational and exploratory experience. This was developed in order to boost revenue creation and shorten lines at the food stands, theatres, and ticket counters.
A zoo can be a very exhilarating experience, but not ideal for all age groups. The problem faced was often creating an engaging platform while also educating the audience about the species, while keeping in mind the revenue generation and awareness amongst the people about the different services at the Zoo.
By including features like zoo maps, an online queue system, and a more immersive and engaging platform, we intend to develop a digital solution through a mobile application that assists the users in eradicating all the issues that were identified through our research, which will increase time spent at zoos and help visitors have an enjoyable, educational experience.

To identify the many aspects and trouble spots when visiting the zoo, a survey was done with 20 participants.
Who do you visit the zoo with?
How have you navigated your way through the zoo?
How do you purchase the tickets for the entry and the shows?
Do you have a mobile application for the zoo you visited?
What is the most interactive zoo experience you have had?

We created an affinity map to identify high level themes and group similar insights gained from the user interviews.
Brainstorming ideas based on the interviews and analysis of the survey conducted, to understand the important pain points and features that can be carved out in to ideation phase.
To kick-off the design process, quick sketches helped me get ideas on paper to establish which elements were necessary for each screen. A low fidelity prototype was then created for initial user testing.
The primary user flow is the process of determining all the main functionalities of the app - educational, queue system for food and events and maps.
Created some rough sketches to get the initial thoughts on paper and brainstorm new ideas for specific UI elements and UX flows.

Using the feedback and insights gained from research, analysis and sketching, a how-fidelity prototype was created to begin user testing.

We conducted a usability study to determine where improvements could be made and identify new ideas to satisfy user expectations, needs, and desires.

The project was time-based and required me to create a seamless user experience while keeping in mind the client's goals of revenue generation and educating users about donation and animal adoption.
Micro UI elements and prototypes were used to enhance the app's look, but it was crucial to ensure they didn't disrupt the flow.
Testing the app allowed for improvements in UX, but more time would have been helpful for further evaluation.
